This design came from my passion for riding my bike, along with maintenance. With my new bike being disk brake operated it inspired me to create this design. I used duplication and rotation tools to achieve my final design. also to create the center flower shape I used the add tool to combine multiple circles into the bigger shape.Â
When upgrading my old bike from straight handle bars to dropped handle bars I also replaced a lot of parts including my chain. When playing around with my old chain I found that you can put it into the shape of a star. Then using the chain seperation tool I was able to get the chain to stay in the shape of a star.
When creating this design I used the subtract tool to make the file cleaner. By duplicating the brighter part of the chain then subtracting it from the darker part of the chain I was able to create a chain that perfectly fit with no overlap. This design was the first one where I used three different colors, I decided to create a document to keep note of all the different colors and techniques. I created my "Parameters" page
